Surviving together – Bringing open access digital to Harwich & Dovercourt letter to Sir Bernard Jenkin MP for Harwich

To Harwich MP Sir Bernard Jenkin when I visited him at an open constituency surgery.

Dear Bernard

It’s been a bit of a difficult week for me as I lost my Father yesterday, I’ve made notes ahead of time which I know is bad form, but please excuse my doing so. It’s only to help me not make a muff of my setting out to you what I would like to express to my MP in surgery.

I’m seeking your parliamentary support and government guidance and your own considerable wisdom where possible or appropriate for the establishment of my wommpomm platform as a community that empowers business and citizen in our constituency and be a world first not only technologically but in collective pride, our Essex way.

As we agreed Bernard, Harwich is more than everything we could possibly need it to be. We have the Mayflower, Electric Palace, Redoubt and allsorts more as the platform explores on Social Media and on broadcast output one of the most beautiful parts of Britain.

wommpomm today is at the pioneering edge of cross-platform digital engagement messaging. Forged in fire in the i-Lab at Essex University’s inaugural Alumini Employabilty Day. This was an amazing day with the Students, Ben Landis, Chair Copywriters Network and the Essex Uni profs in micro-messaging Lisa and Maxwell. Not forgetting Rose Matthews who was and is wonderful always. (Now at Emmaus) who invited wommpomm to become involved.

The reality though is that beyond the university, wommpomm was built by lots of eBay boxes, 1P Penny start auctions in fact! We will now begin broadcasting educational real-time real life eBay youtube reference, informational and educational films…live!

Our business community networking supporters now have access to the platform as a ready to go online fully functional e-commerce commercial and broadcast resource.

I should record that I’ve repeatedly gotten utterly nowhere with the Council or County Council politicians to the degree that when I was asked by the current Mayor of Harwich who was questioning my motives for even wanting to film and broadcast the monthly full council meetings from now on, I was so angered I answered by saying ‘it’s called democracy isn’t it?

wommpomm has already united businesses in Harwich within 8 weeks of launch. Not online. In the real world first! The B2B networking campaign posters going up now represent Harwich businesses beginning the journey into the digital power wommpomm provides communities. wommpomm has an experienced team of 27 people ready for work right now from the basics, the cloud, and right up to broadcast video output and worldwide digital commerce.
