Although through ill health my filmaker was unfortunately not able to be there this evening, I met with the estates planning officer and town clerk Lucy Ballard yesterday to work through the new stairlift installed at at the Guildhall in Harwich #Essex as well as arrangements for best working through the wrinkles of the last Town Council Filming. I feel far more positive that understanding is breaking out.
A great day filming yesterday with Baroness Anne Jenkin of Kennington, great news about a constant food supply for the Salvation Army lunch club from the local supermarkets and we expanded from custard creams into bourbons.
Big respect and thanks to everyone for making yesterdays filming amazing, on and off screen. Richards carer was wonderful given that Richard had given her no clue before she helped him get the wheelchair to the end of the table who he was having lunch with and then simply explained it to her as ‘shrug, just lunch’ without perhaps realising himself how powerful his film might be.
There are no spoilers going to be available for these films, as soon as I know a release date, you’ll know.
I also had a lovley cup of tea today with Marion Railton who we filmed her MacMillan Brave The Shave in Reedman’s florists Shop window recently. Thanks for the sticky bun Marion! J xx
